Breaking the cycle of domestic abuse
one relationship at a time
serving Washington State
Our Mission is to break the cycle of domestic abuse one relationship at a time by providing housing and resources for families who have experienced domestic abuse and by activating the church body to participate in prevention and intervention.
In the United States...
  • One in four women will experience domestic abuse
  • Domestic abuse is the leading cause of injury to women - more than car accidents, muggings and rapes combined
  • A woman is assaulted or beaten every nine seconds
  • Every day more than three women are murdered by their husbands or boyfriends
  • Studies suggest that up to ten million children witness some form of domestic abuse annually

Our hearts ache to change the statistics, to break the cycle of domestic abuse one relationship at a time and to empower families to live lives free of violence and abuse.

The TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM provides a safe and secure Christian community living environment for women and their children who have successfully escaped domestic abuse and are ready to begin rebuilding their lives. We provide a stable, supportive, affirming and accountable environment where families have the time, space, and resources needed to heal, transform, gain independence and transition to permanent housing. Families receive encouragement and support from one another, staff, an assigned mentor, life skills coach, weekly house meetings and a support group.

PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING TO THE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM: There are many ways to help. You can give monetarily or consider donating household items which are always needed to keep things running. Please click on the link below to donate or to read more about this great program.
